Need for Speed: Underground Graphics Problem

I can't get NFS: Underground to run. I have DirectX 9.0b installed, I just updated my driver: NVIDIA RIVA TNT Model 64 with the latest drivers. If anyone has a newer driver than 6.13 (dated 03/05/2002) lmk.

I'm not sure if the driver's the problem though I think that's it.

NFS will initialize and all the videos will be fine, but all the text and graphics will be messed. I can't read anything. My cursor will also be the video that's playing.

I'm running:
Windows XP
Pentium 4, 1300 mhz
The Nvidia driver stated above
and the temp is fine.

Anyone got suggestions or ideas to fix this? Maybe I need a new graphics card.

You've got the patch installed? If not try that.

The TNT2 is a little low to run NFSU, I'm not sure that it would work at all but it should at lower resolutions/colordepths.

There are quite a few threads floating around involving people having trouble with this game. The common factor? Old video cards. You are due for an upgrade!
