Microsoft Wireless Networking Hardware

Has anyone experienced problems building a simple 802.11g wireless network with Microsoft hardware (MN720 laptop adaptor and a Microsoft base station)?

The card keeps losing the WEP encryption key?????

Yes, the O/S has been updates with all the "critical" fixes and SP1. I cannot say for sure if I updated the WPA or not.

Correct. You enter the WEP key and the network seems just fine. Some time later, the connection will go down. When you inspect the adaptor, the encryption setting has changed and the "get key automatically" prompt has been checked again.
