Please, can anyone help me. I have an HP 2000C printer. I keep getting a false printhead status report. Even after replacing the printheads with brand new printheads, the yellow printhead still is not being read as new. please help!!!.

You might try cleaning the contacts inside the head carriage.

I cleaned them with a coffee filter, but it still will not pick up the yellow print head.
