implexant Just go to
www.irfanview.com and get the program and plug-ins. It's pretty self-explanatory and intuitive. The slideshow feature is under FILE. The whole thing is free.
Irfanview is probably the best genuine freeware out there. It's a terrific graphics management program that I use for viewing of all my graphics and movie files.
The slideshow can be saved to disk as an autoexecute for another computer or as a VCD. It's one button. No thinking. You don't even have to know how to use the burner. Just pop the blank CD in.
The Irfanview made VCDs don't work on a computer. They work just fine on a DVD player supporting CD-Rs. The autoexecute works just fine on PCs. It can be easier than making a quick PowerPoint.
Just download and install Irfanview. I have Irfanview as the default viewer for all my still images. I usually don't make anything default.
