I am working with our in-house Graphics Designer to try and find a good printing solution. I recently had setup a brand new G4 for her with OS X. She is currently on version 10.2.8 and she uses Illustrator 10, Photoshop 7, and Quark 6.
Not really understanding her needs, i bought her a standard HP inkjet printer. It is a good printer but it is not PostScript compadible. She needs something to do her color proofing.
So, can anyone suggest a color printer for doing proofing? Hopefully under $1000, so that leaves inkjet printing. I work in a hotel casino and she does mostly advertisment stuff. Color mailers and invetations to our guests and slot players.
Or can someone point me to a site or forum where i might be able to find more info? Thank you for any help and guidance.
