hey.

i borrowed a few MPEG cd's from a friend of mine, he burned some of his family video's on to cd...

how do I view them on my puter? is there a div X player that I can use? or any other suggestions?

i downloaded the DIVX player, but the screen comes up all messed up... I don't know why...

I would download a codec pack like nemo or Ac3. Then install divx and xvid (those are the two big ones). Do a search on google and you should be able to find everything.

You might just ask your friend what he compressed the video with if he was the one who made the files.

Look on google for the Kazaa Lite Codec Pack. It has DivX, Xvid and many many more.

lol muno, yer hilarious. Kazaa Lite Codec Pack doesn't have spyware but DivX from the site does; did you read the agreement?
