NTLDR Missing...

I just bought a 120GB Hard drive for my old computer and a 52x24x52x cd-rw drive (my system being an old amd 450), after putting in the new hard drive, and realizing the motherboard cant support a drive that big (or can it?? if it can, can you help me set it up, it just asks me about dram cach, and freezes) i took it out, i also removed an old 2 gig i had in there, and 2 older cd-roms out (i left the main 20 gig hard drive in)... i now get a NTLDR missing error, and tryed all the rcovery counsil crap... nothing works...

usually you just try to boot off the cd and use the recovery console to copy the ntldr from the i386 folder to the c:/
