Asus P4PE-4 & Intel P4 2.6C

Right now I'm running a 300W Antec PSU, Asus P4PE-4 Mobo, Intel P4 2.6C CPU, 512MB Kingston PC2700 DDR RAM.

I have a goal of OC'ing to 3.0 GHz, is this reasonable?

I have a fan/heatsink on the cpu, and an 80mm fan on the back of the case blowing outwards, I'll go grab some temps for you guys.

Any help would be much appreciated!

yeah that shouldn't be hard to do at all. My 2.4 is at a 3.12 with only a few degrees more of heat. As long as you have good cooling you don't have anything to worry about

yeah that should go pretty smoothly but you dont have anything to worry about as most mobos now have cpu overheat protection

so can you guys tell me what i need to set the following params to:

CPU Speed = 3.0GHz (Goal)
CPU Frequency Multiple = ?
CPU External Frequency = ?

I'm new to oc'ing so help is much appreciated.
