Reccomended Memory Timings for Golden Dragon GeiL PC3200

I have a ASUS P4P800 with a 2.8Ghz 800FSB running at 250 and 1gig of GeiL Golden Dragon PC3200 with the memory settings at 2.5-4-4-7-4 and when I try to go past 252 fsb the computer crashes when I run a heavy program like 3DMark. Do u have any suggestions on the memory timings so that I can overclock past 3.6Ghz?

Geil likes lots off Dimm volts. Its tuff stuff too-fortunatly because of its downfall of being power hungry far beyond DDR spec. So oclockers witht that stuff say. Me I avoid it just for that reason. But I hear when you really volt her up it works good. Dont like the idear myself. Some mobo's didnt even boot with it-till it was over ddr spec vdimm. Think most folks with my mobo (a7n8x deluxe) had this issue.

up the voltage... maybe to 2.9v if you can. i had those golden dragons... and those things need power!

have you tried running prime95 or memtest86 with your config? stupid dragon ram caused me to fail both.

Where do I get those tests from? I'll try to run them. I also have Golden Dragon 3500 memory.

You may have reached your limit---what heatsink?
Voltage and better cooling *may assist---
