CNN, AOL etc down?

Unable to get into www.cnn.com or www.aol.com in addition to some other web sites... Can anyone else check into this for me please? AIM is down as well.

CNN comes up fine for me. AOL loads slowly but eventually comes up too.

Try doing a trace route. There could be a router or segment down that I don't hop to.

That should always be your first suspect. It couldn't possibly be something with your ISP, modem, or something else on your end.

If it's raining where you are, it must be raining everywhere. If you're having problems with "the internet", everyone else must be too. If there even was something you could point to and call it "the internet."

sounds like your school's network hiccuped on its way out for a moment... prone to happen especially if your school uses proxies and firewalls to filter traffic (i knw mine does)..

I thought this post was referring to the stock and was wondering why it's in the tech discussion forum.

And, yes, AOL Time Warner is down (unless you're wondering about p/e, which is WAY up!!).
