Error Message

Can anybody help with this?
A friend at work has asked me about this & his system is running ME but thats all I know, because he doesnt know anything else.
Not much help
When on the internet, the message comes up,
Error outlook express:0197:BFF8E64B.
I was wondering if there is a solution. I have looked on MS help but cannot find anything.
After a while the system will freeze, but I think that is a memory problem, as he is on AOL broadband with what sounds like an oldish system.
The error message is a mystery. Any help will be greatly received.

Jackie: Do you receive these error messages as soon as you power on the system?
Nancy Fenlon: no, only after I start working on a program or access the internet
Jackie: Please let me know since when are you facing this issue? What was the last thing you were doing before this happened?
Nancy Fenlon: It has happened on and off for some time but is much worse now...it can happen in the middle of an internet game or when I am editing pictures...doesnt seem to take much to go haywire!
Jackie: Do you receive all the error messages at the same time or different error messages at different times.

Some discussions regarding caused by ATI (and sometimes nVidia) drivers... perhaps an uninstall, then reinstall of video drivers?
