Surround speakers

Can anyone recommend some surround speakers for my home audio system, only thing is I want 4 ohms not 8, around the $150-200 range. I can find plenty of 8 ohms but not 4

thanks

Why do you need to have 4 ohm speakers? Check out Mirage satellites or Microsats.

If you parallel wire two 8 ohm speakers together it will become 4 ohm.

Yes, and it puts higher load on the amp or amp section of a receiver which could burn out the amp. Most receivers or amps are designed to accept speakers with a 6 or 8 amp load rating.

maface, if the amp or receiver is rated to accept 4 ohm speakers then for the best surround SOUND you should match the rears and sides (if available) to the fronts.
