GNU/Hurd: possible to use it with my current slack distribution?

Hey,
I was just wondering if it's possible for me to use the hurd as if i were moving to a new linux kernel (that is, maybe create a /boothurd directory and move the kernel and such into it.)? Has anyone tried this? Is there any sites you would recommend me taking a look at?

thanks,
- Sean

I don't think its possible. AFAIK the hurd has a different boot process, and different executable file formats.
I know Debian had a hurd distribution out.
The best link I can give you is:
http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/hurd.html
and http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/
