Jedi Academy : They said it couldn't be done...they were wrong!

I don't know if this has been posted before or not...but it's news to me! I was reading a FAQ on Jedi Academy the other night and one of the things they mentioned was that you couldn't throw your lightsaber if you were using the staff. You had to switch over to the normal saber before you could throw it.

WRONG!!!

Thats stupid. It can be actually DONE! Just right click and just point out the area you wanted to thow ur lightsabre. Yet..yet, if you happen to slipped your sabre out of ur hand and it dropped into a deep hole, you'll eventually die. Well not die, but game over.

Throwing a standard lightsaber can be done yes...but up til now I was under the impression that you couldn't throw a dual / staff lightsaber.

All you do is have the dual / staff saber out and change styles at the same time that you click the right mouse button. So when you throw it out...it goes out as a dual / staff...and comes back as the standard saber.

Gouki, my Jedi Knight outcast 2 is okay. I can still play it but not the 3rd one. Should I change my vid card? Or something else...

Ummmm...post a new thread and ask everyone? What are your system specs? And how do they compare with the requirements for Jedi Academy?

Your just talking about a graphics bug.

Take a closer look at the pics...and even try it for yourself. It's not a bug.

Just because you see yourself throwing it with both sides out, doesn't mean the computer see's it like that, so it would actually still work as a single, but with the graphics of 2 blades.

And exactly how do you know how the computer "sees" it anyways? You don't.
