I got my
Koolance Exos up and running this past weekend. I am using the
CPU-200G CPU cooler and the new
CHC-A09 Video cooler.
I am getting 34°C idle and 40°C load on my Barton 2500+ @ 3200+. Vcore 1.65
I am getting 36°C idle and 42°C on my 9700pro stock speed.
I am running it in mode 2 so the fans will speed up as the temp goes up. As of now, they haven't sped up at all. They are running nice and quiet. I'm sure the temps and the fans will raise when the summer TX heat comes back.
I was running a Alpha PAL-8045 with a 42 cfm fan. My temps were only about 1-2°C higher using the Alpha. My temps on the Vid card when I had the stock heatsink/fan on it were around 65°C. I added the Zalman Heatpipe and they dropped to around 50°C. Now it's running 42°C with the watercooling.
I have read numerous posts on other forums about how crappy the exos performs. "Build your own kit, piece it together, buy a real kit from a good company, blah blah blah...." Well, I'm every bit pleased with my purchase. It looks good sitting on top of my Yeong Yang server cube and I have just 3 fans in the case now all running at the lowest speed on my Nexus fan speed controller.
So all in all I am very happy with getting this.
