Uninstalling Windows ME Upgrade

I need to uninstall windows ME from a command prompt.

It expains how to do this in Microsoft Article 272159. Can anyone tell me how long this removal will take?

Probably not too long. Under five minutes, I'd venture to guess. I know I uninstalled 2K once and it only took like three minutes to complete. <shrug>

I tried it not quite that easy with ME. This was installed over 98 SE and when I used the uninstall remove or install feature in the control panel . It asked if I wanted to unistall. A message then indicated that it would probably take a few minutes to bring the system back to its earlier configuration. The next message indicated it was checking files. It checked 28680 files in 22 hours. Unless ther is a faster way I really don't recommend doing this .
