Server 2003 Active Directory issue

Have just finished setting up Server 2003 ad a domain controller in it's own forrest with no other domain controllers.

Have a mixed network of clients running either 2000 or XP.

Each client has a local printer installed that is shared and has the "list in the Directory" option enabled.

When trying to connect to or add a network printer using the find now option, none of the clients retrieve a list of available printers.

The clients will connect to the network printers when you specify the printer using it's UNC name, either from the run command or in the add a printer wizzard.

can anyone tell me why the printers will not show up in the directory listing as a shared resource when you use the find now option.

Please hurry, I am running out of hair to pull out.

nevermind the above question, for the record, I am an idiot!

The clients were retreiving an IP address from a DHCP server that had a DNS table that did not include my 2003 server in the look up list.

Hence the clients could not see a list of resources available in Active Directory for their Domain.
