torac's wish list

1. A visual basic type programming language that actaully installs and works correctly!!! (everyone i tried has not worked or there were so many errors installing it i choose to boot into windows to use visual basic.

2. A web development program such as dreamweaver that incorporate a design mode and code mode. Blue fish comes close but that only incorporates code.

3. A DHCP server GUI Interface.

4. I know Mac OS 10 can emunlate windows. I think linux should be able to emulate windows and mac os 10 too. :-D

thats about it for now.

yeah, i agree with the visual basic thing, even tho i personally detest that language. dreamweaver would also be nice, as would photoshop (there is the gimp, but lets face it, it's not photoshop).

A dhcp GUI interface prolly wouldn't be that difficult. in fact sourceforge might have one, i remember seeing a gui for dhcpd once, so i would imagine there would be one for the server too.

I've heard of vmware for emulating windows in linux before, but since you have to pay for it i've never tried it.

EDIT:it's no prob, i think i've done that before too, not to mention the dreaded double post.
