newbie question... broken heat sink fan tab

Hi everyone, it would be great for some help here, I'm having a problem with my heat sink fan. The processor is a 1.1 ghz celeron that I am trying to get up and running again, except the tab that clips the heat sink onto the mother board is broken. There is only two tabs. Can this be fixed? Or do I have to go out and purchase a new heat sink fan.

What board?
If you mean the little white ones on the socket down next to the board, you need a new board.

no no no, i mean the actual clips on the heat sink... the board is not broken just the heat sink clips. they are old and plastic, i have a feeling i need a new heat sink but if anyone has any ideas for fixing it... what do you think???
