I need professional help on this topic...I am stuck !!!! pleaseeeee

Ok let me explain my situation.

I have 2 PC and 1 Plasma TV and 1 Monitor. I want to put both PC's on a switch box so that the video that I am playing on both PCs I can switch between A and B for PC 1 and PC 2. Sounds very simple right ?? Just put in a switch box and everything should work like a charm right ?? I am sorry to say...it's WRONG !!!!

The problem that I am getting is that when I switch from A which is PC 1 to B which is PC 2 my Plasma TV doesn't get the signal...There's no video. The Monitor works fine..there's video but not on the Plasma. I then switch from B back to A both the Monitor and Plasma have video.

I thought my B port on my switch box is bad...So swap the cables from A to B. Everthing works fine...but still now only B port has video and A port will only display on the Monitor NOT the Plasma TV.

I thought it's the Cables....I changed the cables...it's still the same...either A port OR B port will show on the Plasma TV. And the Monitor works fine on both ports.

So can somebody explain to me WHY my Plasma TV will only display 1 port on my switch box.?? It will not display video when I switch from A to B....

Please help...I really need all the suggestions that I can get...

Greatly appreciated...

P.S. I even change from a $12 switch box to a $100 switch box. Still doesn't work... I even tried my other Plasma TV it's still the same... And my projectors too....soo nothing works when I switch from A to B....but the monitors works fine....WHY ?????????????????????????????????????/

Well.. that's cool and all but what are your system specs?
Maybe the TV-Out support of PC1 is configure the right way but the TV-Out option of PC2 is not configured!!
Also, which video cards are you using,e tc.

I couldnt even follow all that, but I am pretty sure that some monitors and tvs etc have trouble with switch boxes. For instance laser printers arent supposed to be used with a/b switch boxes....perhaps it is something along those lines.

Well I figured out another way....thanks for the help..but I am still curious on why it doesn't let me switch from a to b on the Plasma TV.

My system :

P4 2.8
2.0 Gig RDRAM
ATI 8500 128 DDR
SCSI Ultra 320 146gig x 4
ect.....

But I just plugged my VGA out from my video card to the switch and from the switch to a video splitter....I don't know why when I switch from A to B only 2 monitors have video and the Plasma doesn't have any video...
