RedHat9 + USB Broadband

Hi im a newbie with redhat
i have a dual boot WinXP and Red Hat 9
XP's broadband works fine through USB
althought i dont know how to set up my broadband
on redhat9.
i dont have a NIC,
can any 1 help me please

i dont use usb for my modem but before my mom got her comp and i got a router i had to unplug my modem reboot to linux(mandrake) and plug the modem back in..then the other way to go back to win xp now with a router i dont have to swich them

but i would sugguest getting an NIC a friend of mine had usb and was getting speeds of around 700kbps now with an NIC he gets around 3.5mbps
