HP keyboard driver

i have just finished building a system for some friends and i was wondering how i could install the keyboard drivers for his old keyboard(HP) ?? he wants to use this one because of all the multimedia controls on it but they wont work without correct drivers.

its a new comp but he wants to use the old kboard from another system? What was the model of the hp it came off of?

for instance "presario 9745"??

Probably have to find the model # then go to compaq or hp website and see if you can find the model number of the comp, then look for downloads and the kboard driver.

Do you know the model number of the hp?

Or sometimes there is a model number on the bottom of the kboard itself.

but it just showed up when I searched for "keyboard" or "multimedia keyboard" (cant remember which)..it also showed when I searched for keyboard 5185-1596
