Kids Wireless NIC Card, Mouse and Keyboard Problem

I have a wireless G card (linksys) and an Uncle gave me a Wireless Comfort Duo (Logitech) keyboard and mouse, and I have lost a bit of signal strenght on my wireless nic card, I had 56 Kb with good streght, my signal got a bit down to 36 Kb, moved a bit the channel of the signal up, and I recovered the 56 Kb with good strenght.... until I made some major cleanup on my space, I moved the computer to clean the desk and my stuff, and when i reconnected all the stuff my signal dropped down a lot i have 18 Kb, I tried to tweak the channels but i cannot get more than 36 with low strenght... The computer is in the same position as before....

Any clues how i can get back the good signal I had before?

Do you have a 2.4Ghz cordless phone or a microwave operating around your area? 802.11G and B operate on that frequency, unfourtunatly, and although I won't be setting up wireless until Christmas I do know that running out 2.4Ghz phone when our microwave is on can be very, very difficult.
