another linksys wireless problem.

Hey guys i too have a problem with my wireless linksys router and here it is.

Im using windows xp home and a linksys wireless g pci card and a wireless g router upstairs in the room above me. I have the most recent drivers for the pci card and it still disconnects at random. Im using 128 bit wep encryption and my computer is under a desk but when its connected to the router it gets excellent signal but when it loses it i have to click on the pop up bubble to reconnect and recently its not even finding the router half the time.
I would like to add that the linksys utilities wont install on my comp, i click on the install icon from the cd and it shows a window really quick then dissapears, same goes with the autorun menu on the disk. If you have any info on how to solve my problem i would be very grateful thank you.
