Is This Happening to Anyone Else?
In recent days, I've had a HUGE drop in the amount of spam mail I receive on a daily basis. I have Outlook Express set to send any mail not from someone on my address book, to a "bulk mail" folder. I do look through this mail, although 99% of it is spam. On average I would receive 40-60 pieces of spam per day. Sometimes more.
I have an MCI DSL connection, but I use the MSN email address I've had for over 8 years. All my junk mail goes to this address. I gave up clicking on the "unsubscribe" button several years ago.
I've received no notice from MCI or MSN if they have a new spam filter, and I've done nothing on my end. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this in the past few days. I think last Wednesday was the first day I noticed this. Since that day, I recieve maybe 2-4 spams per day now. YAHOO!

I'm sorry Bill I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Got a total of 3 spams today. I hope this is a permanent situation. Almost as good as capturing Saddam

You know, my hotmail spam had been much smaller the past few days, i've been wondering what's up cause i hadn't checked it for a day or two and i go to empty and there's like 16 there, normally i get a few hundred in two days. This is pretty nice |

Me too. I'm glad I'm not the only one. My MSN mail also runs through hotmail. An early Christmas present from Uncle Bill?

Could be that your ISP started filtering.

That's a possibility, but I never received an announcement from MCI and/or MSN. I won't look a "gift horse in the mouth". I just hope it continues. Five whole days without offers to enlarge my *****
