Acer TM663LMi: Need ur feedback..

Hi Guys,

I have finally narrowed down to Acer TravelMate 663LMi after considering the following factors,
1. a decent battery life (few hours atleast)
2. 40GIG HDD + 512 MB RAM so that it survives the future M$ products and my crazy ideas
3. A laptop and not a desktop on my lap
4. DVD+/-RW (not so important to me.. but what the heck, let me have it.. this is the trend anyways)
5. the Centrino buzzword.. no not really.. mainly for a longer battery life..
6. the most important reason, price... considering the above features (more or less)

I am more of less happy with the acer products in general, but still, when buying a new one, better be sure of what I am getting. I tried to get "USER REVIEWS" for this product, but cudn't get any (or i didnt try enuf).. So, posting my query for the experts to answer...

Can you folks pls. comment on this model's abilities (or the non-abilities), perf, issues, price? Any other points? User experiences?.. Any Linux experiences.. etc...

That seems like a reasonable offer. Personally I dislike Acer products on the whole. Had alot of horrible experiences in the past with them. They don't make any durable and lifelong stuff.
