raven shield resolution problems

I (finally) got raven shield a few days ago and i know that it has been out for a while, so i am a newb, therefore i have know idea if it has been addressed in a patch some time ago but for those of you who own raven shield, HOW DO I CHANGE THE REOLUTION!?!?!?! I go to 'graphics' in the menu screen but there is no 'apply' button to initiate my new settings. There is nothiong that tells me if my resolution will change at all! So when i go to click on the resolution tab, i drag all the way down to 1600x blah blah (forgot the other numbers) and then click 'return' and play the game and no matter what i do, it always plays the game at 800x600!!! its impossible to play like this! EVERYTHING IS SO BLOCKY AND UGLY!plz help!!!

Well I didn't have a problem with this, start the game, change the resolution then start it rather than do it during the game, and are you sure you can do 1600x1200?
Try 1024x768 or 1280x1024.
There are patchs at the games site, it's recommended you download it.
Couldn't hurt right?
