I have finally decided to upgrade my system and I'm asking for your help.

The first I want to to pick a case.

Below I have a couple selected I'm looking for something along the line of aluminum alloy.

Looking for more or less clean lines and lots of DriveSpace. I have the green light from the boss with the purse to get anything I want. So one have as much fun doing this is possible here are my case selections:

Cooler Master Wave Master Case without Power Supply,Model:
TAC-101

ANTEC Aluminum Performance 1 Series (Silver) ATX Mid-Tower Case w/ Swiveling Front Control Panel features LED Display, USB 2.0/Firewire, and Audio Ports - Model:
P160

Thank you for your help I am going to make the jump to a 64-bit processor. Any suggestions on motherboards would be greatly appreciated as well

I'd get the P160WF, it looks nice. Or you could do what I'm doing and just build an acrylic case from scratch.

i like the P160wf. nice transparent side panel. no worries about modifying it later on.

dude is from Charlotte....he can get anything there....they got computer stores all over! lol...at least when I go to shows I see like 50 booths and tables set up from charlotte vendors

I am really leaning towards the p160wf...

Now let me ask this question...


Should I go 64 bit or just max out a 32bit board???

Better yet here is my current parts list that I am going to move over to the new box:

2 80gig 7200 drives
Radeon 9700 Pro
8x Plextor PX-780 (Being Shipped Whooo Hooo!)
Yamaha CRF1
2 512meg Corsair 3200 DDR Sticks

I have looked into SATA converters for the IDE drives but I dont know how good they are. I would rather drop the cash on board and proccessor then to buy the SATA drives at this point.

I am at that crossroads between maxing current technologies and jumping onto the new...

I welcome all input

i would go with the 64 bit if you have the money try this one http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...log=343&depa=1 and for a mobo try http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...alog=22&depa=1 i have a gigabyte mobo its it great. then get yourself 1-2 gigs of http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...=BROWSE&depa=1 then a Raideon 9800 and to top it off water cool it have fun and enjoy, i no i would
