does my computer hate me?

well, i was having problems with my secondary video card... then, while working on it, (while the computer was off) when i touched the computer case, it would turn on. (it happened a couple of times). i also had some other problems that were in my last thread....
Then, a little bit ago, i restarted my computer because i was deleted the ati (secondary card) drivers. when it booted, it only came up on one of three monitors (one on the geforce 4 mx440). it also came up at 640 x 480... i went to display settings, and it said that it was using the ati rage 128 pro, and working fine....
a couple of questions... why did it say ati when that monitor was plugged into the nvidia? why would it want to be ati if i just uninstalled the ati?
the next reboot came up on the ati monitor and i got a found new hardware (mx440 and plug and play monitor)... i had to download the newest drivers again from nvidia...


my computer is freaking me out...

EDIT: I forgot that i also had to reinstall my ethernet card.... stupid computer....

A trip to safe mode / device mangler might be in order, a complete removal all the devices that are troublesome.

I don't have a clue what is going on with your video setup..but if that was my system, I would (1) get another PSU or (2) ground that computer case. Possibly both. If by touching the case will turn it on (and you did not design it to do that), you have a foreign voltage floating around in that machine..one day..it will bite you...in more ways than one..in the pocket book especially.
