DSL lost connection

I have DSL with a Westel modem and a wireless Microsoft router for 2 destop computers to share broadband. Internet connection sometimes lost while browsing the IE or became very very slow. Wait for 5-10min then it's ok or sometimes have to reset both for it to work fine again. All cables filters are ok, no high-freq phone or alarm near by, temporary Internet folder cleaned so I don't really know what the problem is, any help please!

have u tried defrag ur drive? It happen to me once, but no more after I done defrag quite a bit. im not sure whether it works for u too.

have you secured the wireless with a password?

Sounds like maybe someone is hijacking your bandwidth and DLing stuff.
