Check in the BIOS to make sure that you're box is reading video from the right source (either AGP or PCI).

Can you hear the system go through the entire boot, you know, floppy & cd checks as well as a ok beep?
If not, I'd check my primary motherboard circuit - memory and cpu and power. If so, it 's probably a vid card issue, often a non-seated agp problem. or the stinkin' thing is just dead!

Hi I am having much the same problem as described here, I unfortunatly am not smart enough to know what kind of mother board i have, I had to take all of my cards and drives out of one motherboard and put them into a new one, so I got it all plugged in and started it up and i can hear it go threw its usuall boot up, except it doesnt beeb, but the drives start goin. i have noticed that there is an orange and white cord that says turbo sw on the plug that is not plugged into anything, it comes from the power switch at the top of he tower, I was wondering if this could be the problem and were that cord should be plugged into, it has three little holes on the plug. I am pretty sure that the problem does not lie in the video card (which i also do not know what kind) because i have now tried it with three cards that all worked before i but them into this mother board
