winhlpp32.exe and viruses

i keep getting viruses and they always are located in winhlpp32.exe which i have tried to locate manually and i cant seem to find it. my av(symantec) always quarintines them but its still annoying and it wont delete them. ive gotten the blaster worm, some goabot.gen thing, and a bunch of others all from that same file. i havent had anything bad happen yet but im worried. is there anything i can do for this?

Syre you can.
I just went through all the same you are going to.
there is a ceratin process you have to follow to get ride of those viruses and strings forever.
1_Install the Antivirus you have and all the latest patches.
2_Turn off system restore.
3_Reboot and log on Safe mode.F8 wworks for me.
4_Make sure you load as a Administrator.
5_Scan and manually delete all the files.(viruses)
6_Reboot and go to.depending on the virus you have.. try both of these strings. run/REgedit
for Welchia worm.. or gabbot.usually you get it when trying to run WinUpdate from Microsoft.com.. yup..anyways go here.
Local mach/system/current control set/services.. if you see RPC patch..or RPC tftpd..DELETE THEM...then go and turn System restore back on.
if you got.. Jeffo virus...check this other string.. before you turn system recovery on..Local machine/software/microsoft/windows/current version/run/ if you see..POWER MANNAGER/SUBKEY !!DELETE IT!!!
That did work for me..now i got my life back.
