Hi Folks

Have been having trouble with the sychost.exe error message when accessing the web - some variant of the blaster worm I am led to understand. Am running, Norton, Ad-aware, Spybot, and AVG, and have run the clnpoza utility, but the problem still seems to be occuring.

Any suggestions, I would be most grateful.

Cheers Sam, but one specific question - if I log onto the server(s) at work using a VPN, given that I and the office system has all the relevant firewall/anti-virus software, what are the chances of that thing getting onto the network at work, or onto any of the PCs in the office?
