While we are on the subject of "Will this card work?", correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all 4x video adapters work at 1.5volts and 1x and 2x work 3.3volts? It is the 1X and 2X video adapters like an old voodoo that will damage a new board - isn't it?

that will all depend on the motherboard . if the motherboard says the agp slot is 1x and 2x compatable that would tell me that it will bump up the voltage for those cards if it is detected .

if the agp slot is only 4x or 8x then yes , the older agp cards won't work . as for hurting the motherboard that i am not sure up . i know some motherboards say it will .
