400mhz FSB on 8RDA+ Rev. 1.1?

Hi all, I'm thinking about selling my 2600+ to the dude that lives down the street seeing that I am rebuilding his computer and in turn getting me an XP 3000+. I've seen on Newegg that the the XP 3000 comes in the 400mhz and the 333mhz flavor but, I would really like to get the 400mhz. My question is will it work on an 8RDA+ Rev. 1.0 even though it doesn't have support for the 400mhz FSB?

I, myself, don't really see why it wouldn't because my RAM is PC3200 and I could just change the settings in the BIOS to the correct multiplier and FSB. I wouldn't consider it overclocking seeing as how the AGP and the PCI bus are locked. So if anybody knows if it would work on the 400mhz fsb, let me know. Thanks!

EDIT: Or maybe it's a 1.1 without the 400mhz FSB support? I can't remember but, oh well.

If I understand your question : probably, but if you run a 3000+ that has a 400 MHZ bus at 333 it won't put out 3000pr

my second answer is if you can set the FSB manualy to 400 it might work even if it is not supported. Remember the 440BX only supported 100, but everyone ran them at 133.
