abit mobo question

for christmas im gettin a p4 3.0and this mobo http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...=BROWSE&depa=1 and i was wondering since i already have 512 ddr2100 ram, would this run jsut as good as it did in my old mobo caue my friend said it might not now i dont know if i should get new ram. any help would be appreciated

Your RAM will work just fine in your new motherboard.

Bought that mob myself, about 3 months ago. It rocks! Not a single problem. Your ram will work just fine.
