Graphical Window Size??

I was poking through the bios on this computer. It has 8mb onboard video SIS 3D Pro I think, anyway in th BIOS it has a Graphical Window Size setting ranging from 4-256 MB.I can set it anywhere I like. I didn't mess with it,just wondering what it's for. Will a higher setting speed up the graphics?

I have 128 MB PC-100 in it.
500MHZ k6/2
It is a PC-Chips board I think,not sure

TIA

There is a TechIMO member, Peter Missel (TechIMO username = Peter M). He knows PC-Chips and ECS mobos inside out. Maybe try a PM to Peter M.

I have an SIS chipset motherboard with intergrated video, and a k6-2 500mhz.
That will give it access to a bit more memory for quickly loading graphics onto the memory and into the shared memory since they are both using system ram, since I had 320mb's of ram in mine I put that up a little higher, it helped in certain games the board could actually play.
It's not a good video card at all, nor is the cpu/ram really going to help. but if your wanting to play some ok games on it, try star craft or half-life on it.

What Jeordie said. I think it's the same thing as the AGP Apeture setting on AGP boards?
