cant get tv out to work...

i have a MSI Geforce 4 MX 440 64mb DDR agp card with TV out and Svideo out and cant seem to get it to work on my TV.
the tv doesnt have svideo out so im using the video out cable, but i dont get anything...this is the first time messing with it {tv out feature} so maybe im over looking something little...any suggestions??

once you get your tv hooked up, you need to go into the display properties and set it to use the tv (extend desktop and then either extend or clone)

did it work? and sorry about the double post... i went over my bandwidth limit and as a penalty my internet is now at a shared 56k speed... when i clicked post reply, it came up with site cannot be found, so i tried it again and it said the same thing..

yup working alright...the box i have running it seems to over heat and freeze up...its only a 450 so i think ill just wait untill i get the 1800+ in and set that up as a movie station/entertainment pc....

plus the modded computer makes everyone say "whoa, did you make that?"

did you figure out the full screen device option under overlay control? you can have it so when you play a video it automatically goes full screen on your tv, but you can minimize it on your desktop....

actually i set it up to run soley on the TV, i dont have room to have a monitor in the living room....

im starting to get a couple nice systems going, im tired of the glitchy performance of the 500mhz on down pc's...i just used the asus p5ab 450mhz for a test rig for the living room...works but shes working too hard to keep up :/

yea.... i wish i had the money to buy more stuff to make more computers... o well... maybe during the summer if i can land a decent job...

right now i buy dirt cheap mod materials, mess around a little, and maybe sell some

got a new acrylic window for $.99
now i just need to find a use for it (dont have any rotary tools to make a top window....)
