Does winXP have a winipcfg command?

I am having some trouble with my network. I know that when I was running win98se the winifcfg command helped when I released and renewed. Does WinXP have an equivalent?

go to run, type cmd

then type ipconfig at the dos prompt

for more info about your connection type ipconfig /all

to release ipconfig /release

to renew ipconfig /renew

I don't know why they didn't like the gui for ipconfig, and only had it in w9x.

Seems some people thought the "winipcfg" gui thing wasnt so great.....I liked it....I know its silly but nontech peeps could more easily...

like GZ said...in XP its a CMD prompt and "ipconfig /release" then "ipconfig /renew"

You can see it from the properties of the network connection. Double click it and choose the support tab. The repair option does a release/renew. Couple more clicks unless you have the taskbar icon when connected, then just double click it.

Haha! Is that all the 'repair' does?
For heavens sake...
