My daughter had the same problem.

In the end, she had to uninstall Kazaa Lite and install Kazaa.

I have uninstalled Kazaa Lite but it still detects some kind of remains and will not install Kazaa. What happed was I uninstalled Kazaa then installed Kazaa Lite. When I tried to install Kazaa it came up with the message.

I hope somebody can help me quick because Morpheus really sucks and I can't download anything with it.

Thanks,
Charlie

Don't know why anyone would want Kazaa instead of KazaLite, but...
Kazaa is most likely seeing kazaa-lite's registry values and throwing a fit about it. Clean your registry (system mechanic or registry cleaner-both have demo versions), erase the program file folder for kazaalite (and kazaa if it's there), and then try the install...
BTW-a great free spyware scanner is Spybot S&D

Has it got something to do with proxies?

Are you using ur own modem or connected to somewhat a community's server?

hey a word of advice is that kazaa will freeze up your computer when you start your computer up it will try to log onto the net especially if you have broadband

They have programs for Kazaa that allows you to take all of the garbage and spyware out. I can't remember the name of it though. (Kazaa runs fine as well)!

I've ran spybot s&d and still nothing. i am using DSL by the way. i've deleted every kazaa file and lite. there shouldn't be anything left but it is finding something that makes it stop.
