i had a hard freeze, and then the siren..

For the first time....really ever thta i can remember, my computer went into a hard freeze. So i press the restart, and then the siren starts going EEE-OOOO-EEEE-OOOO so i quick hurry and cut the p/s and then i wait a few seconds and restart and it works fine.

my nf7-s did that on start up when it was new, before I updated the BIOS.
In my case it was the hardware monitor warning because of misidentifying my Barton 2500+

Only thing I can think of that would be an actual siren noise would be some kind of temperature sensor/alarm. Checked your temps lately?

Mine computer goes beeping because of the display problem. Then I had to clean the copper grill and it works fine after that.

Happened to me. Thought a French ambulance was in the house.

Turned out the processor fan was full of lint and dust.

Cleaned it out and no more noise.
