two quick Word ?'s

Hi all,

I have two quick MS Word questions to ask:

1. How do format to show the header on all pages but the first page? I don't want the header on the first page.

2. I was making a text-break by using *** and now I cannot remove the line. I was trying to add a visual break between sections of text and typed in ***. This created a dotted line across the page. I can't get rid of that line now. How can I delete it?

I hope those make sense. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

ng

To erase the line, just put the cursor right after the line then hit backspace

Umm..put header for all pages. Then if u dont want it to be on the first page, double click on it and erase it

For ur *** thingy, you can as well use the 'delete' button from the very first line OR use the 'backspace' at the end of the line.

I figured out the header thing, but the line thing is still there. When I go to delete it, it seems to just skip right over it and delete the next line of text, sometimes reformatting the text. It is really strange. I can't get rid of the line when I try to delete or backspace. It's strange.
