any Fallout Tactics BOS players out there ? got a question

Hi

guys anyone playing Fallout Tactics BOS ?
I got a question, Ive been playing for a while now and I keep driving in the hummer but the hummer is a little too weak for driving around in the "Super Mutants" and "Robots" neighbourhood, I also have the APC but the APC is sooooo slow its killing me
here is what I was wondering about, in what stage do I get something faster than the APC and stronger than the Hummer ?
(by the way any chance there will be a chopper at some point ?)

also I was wondering about weapons, Ive advanced to energy weapons, but I really like the old style ones, especially the big ones I was wondering if there is something even nicer than the browning M2 (50cal) later in the game (definetly my favourite gun in this game )

Wow, BOS...that takes me back....

Anyway, if memory serves, there is nothing in between the APC and Hummer when talking about speed and armour. The only vehicles that I remember in the game were: the mad max car, the hummer, the APC and the tank.

I usually leave the random encounters (unless it's one of the cool bonus ones) cause they don't give you anything that usefull anyway.

I forget wether there are any more powerful guns out there....the minigun is fun tho.

actually just got the tank
it was the next stage, stronger and faster than the apc, however i cant fit my squad in (it will only take 5 people, weak)

max max ? you cant be talking about the little 2 seater that you get before the APC

you know where is the beauty of the random encounters ? experience points
