ClubMed is on a distinguished road

Yesterday I was typing up some text on MS Word. I then copied the text, and pasted into my forum (which uses phpbb).

For some reason, the word 'book' was a url like this one:

Quote:
<a href="http://get-certified.net?go=<a href="http://0-29.com?go=books" onmouseover="window.status = 'goto: books';return 1" onmouseout="window.status=''">books</a>"
I never typed any of the above url info, I only typed the word 'book'.

Do you think my comp has some spyware issue? Has anyone else experienced this?

sorry let me clarify, it copied all of my text fine, about 1000 words. But out of all that text, only the world 'book' was a url.

It's happened more than once with that particular text that I was working on.

I have a very strange problem that Adaware could not solve.

The problem appears with IE only, everything is normal when I use Opera.

Everytime I enter the plural of book and click on Preview Reply the page loads once normaly, then a 2nd time with url tags around the 'plural of book' pointing to various search engines.

I will demonstrate.

Books

(I will not preview this post).

I downloaded a security update for IE, but the problem persists.

Has anyone heard of an application that runs in the background and adds url tags pointing to search engines when certain words are used in IE ?

It seems this is what I have

You could always try a trojan scanner or maybe AV as well.
It just sounds like something a trojan maybe could do?
