headphone and soundblaster audigy MP3+

My stereo headphone seems to be receiving only when I connect it to the soundblaster audigy MP3+ card. Trying to use internet phone. Appreciate help on which 2 jacks to use from anyone with this sound card. Card works ok with speakers.

What do u want from ur headphone? You want it to deliver something...?

Ok if I've got this decoded right you have a set of headphones with a mic and you only get sound from the headphones and nothing to the mic??? go to settings/control panel there should be something for soundblaster settings in there and look to see wich plug the mic should be in {should be red} you'll aslo need to check your audi properties to make sure you have the mic set to the recording device open volume controls hit properties select recording and make sure mic is checked hit ok and make sure the volume is turned up.

i'm trying to make a call using Skype free internet phone. When i call ring tone is loud and clear but when other party answers i hear nothing. wondering if my headset is connected properly to the soundcard. Using soundblaster audigy MP3+ and win2000pro OS. headphone has 2 leads 1 with a green plug with headphone icon and other with a red plug with microphone icon. connected microphone plug to microphone jack (3rd jack)on sound card. headphone plug connected to 2nd jack on sound card.

well if you can hear a clear loud ringtone from the headphones then i'd assume that wouldn't be the issue you can trouble shoot the headphones/mic by either popping in a cd and listening to it or if you ahve yahoo try a voice chat with someone.
. I've never used the program you're talking about sp I won't be much help there but I'd almost say the problem has to be related to the program.

i can hear CD, RealOne Player etc. i think the problem is with the program.
