Partition suggestions please

Just got a WD 120 Gb. How do most of you set up your partitions on these big ol thangs. I know it is personal preference but still just wondering. I do a little gaming and document building. Thank you, thank you very much.

Is it going to be your only drive??

I suppose some people do something like a 5-10g partition ofr the OS and then have the other partitions for programs and backup. Either way if you have a seperate partition for the OS then you can save your files and backups and stuff on the other partition and you can re-install the OS if you have ussues without messing with the other partition.

i've got a wd 120gb also. my current setup is:
10gb for C:
40gb for programs
45gb for downloads
20gb for Linux
i would suggest getting partitionmagic 8 it makes setting up the partitions much easier. dealdealdeal.com has it for ~25 (shipping added)

This will be the only hard drive in the machine. I had already planned on 10-20 for the OS. Will go with 10 for that and come up with something for the other 110! TFR
