Keyboard locked - Unlock key?

I just bought a new mobo A7N8x.x and did the things i normally would do when installing a new mobo. I popped in the winxp cd installation and it booted up on start. Went through the format drive process and after copying all the setup files from the cd, it asks to RESTART by pressing ENTER. At this point i thought heck why not let it restart on its own, so when it did, computer did memory check as normal, but then I got this error:

Keyboard error keyboard not present
Keyboard locked - Unlock key

I was told by some friends of mine who i told what had happen and they suspect its a Keyboard Bios that is shot.

If anyone has any clue to what this problem is, please help. I'm giving this a bit of time till i return it back and ask for a replacement.

Welcome to TechIMO!!

Possible that your MB may have a keyboard lockout jumper.

Some do. Check your manual.

What kind of keyboard BTW?
