Should I get gamecube?

I've been pondering this seeing as christmas is coming out.
There are a few games I'm kind of wanting to play.
Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, Metriod Prime, etc etc.

Seeing as the price is only 100 bucks, it's a pretty good deal, but I could do other things with the money and I do not want to regret my purchase.

The only Game console I would go fo is Playstation 2. The only one I have liked so far. It depends on your taste. I prefer playing games in my computer while other prefer playing them on a console. If you think its a good deal then go for it.

Well I already have the Playstation 2. So that's not really an issue. But Xbox is kind of luring me in also. It has greater longevity in terms of technical specs. Also some of the games that are to come interest me (eg. Ninja Gaiden). But the 180 price tag is kind of holding me back.

GC is good and there are some great proprietary games for it... cheap. I'm a big Zelda fan for getting a GC was a given for me. Metroid Prime is great. So is Eternal Darkness.

Got my wife a GC and she loves it. I only found that I like only a few of the games tho. But she has found alot of the games she likes only come on GC. Better that she is happy for me.

the only video game that my girlfriend will play is super monkey balls on game cube... she is getting pretty good at it too.

i personally like the xbox better than gamecube, but, for the price, i definitley think that the game cube is worth getting.

That's definitely a good idea. But if/when you can afford it, I'd say go for it.
