Bootable CD

Hi, I know you can make a bootable CD with Nero, but can you make it with two floppies. What I want to do is make a drive image of my boot drive and install it on a CD with the two drive image floppies so I can bung it in when I need to.

I don't think so unless you edit some of the files and write your own script. Someone esle was asking about a similar situation wanting to put the rescue disk set on CD. I checked with Nero and they said it couldn't be done with their software. I mean, you can make a boot CD and copy the files you want available but you won't get an automatic execusion without some work, AFAIK. BTW, how would you get an image of your "boot drive" on two floppies? Or did you mean something else?

What's wrong with using hard disk emulation for the boot sector?

I can`t get nero to read the two floppies, just one. and I can`t make an image file of the two floppies for nero to read.

can you take the data that is on the two floppies and put them in a folder and use the image of the contents of the folder to burn to cd

I thought that nero can create a image
any software that is used for imageing can be used.
all your doing is taking a bunch of files and creating a image file containing all of them
kinda like winzip does

You can use Winimage to create an.img file of the two floppies togther and than have Nero use that to create the bootable CD.

I have done this in the past to create bootable Norton Ghost CD's. Very handy.
