Qt 1.45 (Kbasic Install)

Guys,

I am trying to install Kbasic on my box and it requires QT 1.45 or 2.0. (1.45 is better to use though) I currently have 3.1 i think. Anyone know where I can get my hands on Qt 1.45??? i tried google and nothing came up after a half hour of searching. Thanks for your help guys.

QT 3 should work fine. Try one of these.

./configure --with-qt-dir=/path/to/qt
or
set QTDIR=/path/to/qt
and add /path/to/qt/bin to your PATH.

Your path to qt will proabbly be
/usr/lib/qt3
and
/usr/lib/qt3/bin

1 more question

The first option didnt work.

The second one:

set QTDIR=/path/to/qt
and add /path/to/qt/bin to your PATH.

I am still learning Linux. If you can explain what i have to do exactly i would appreciate it. Do i type the set QTDir in kDevelope??? and also where do i add the path to the bin?

Thanx for your help i really appreicate it.

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/lib/qt3/bin

eh

That didnt work either. i guess u really do need a version of qt between 1.45 and version 2.0. Thanx for the help though. Once i find the older version of qt that i should be set iwth your directions. even the kbasic web site has the same exact steps you have so i just need an older version of qt. Thanks for al your help
